Hello! After seeing Meghan at the Invictus Games earlier this month, I feel the overwhelming urge to add a white blazer to my wardrobe. It’s such a perfect piece for this transitional season; you can wear it with coordinating trousers for a power suit moment as you return to the office, throw it on with jeans for a pulled-together look on the morning school run or layer it over a nap dress for an evening cocktail.
Below I’ve rounded up six different options for you. Note that most of these come in a shade other than white. One is rendered in hot pink, another in HRH blue. Swoon. White is undoubtedly a very versatile option, but a pop of bold color is also very much on trend for spring.
Happy shopping! And scroll down for five links to what I am reading and watching this week. xx

Such a good dupe for Meghan’s Valentino suit jacket! Pairs just as well with dressy trousers (here are the coordinating ones) as it does with jeans. Tip: If the volume seems a tad intimidating, start by wearing it with slim pants and a sleek shoe.
When rendered in oversize linen, a double-breasted blazer has an unexpected ease about it. This style comes in four colors (khaki, magenta, bright green and HRH blue) and is 40% off right now. Tip: Wear it unbuttoned for an even more relaxed look.
This classic, streamlined silhouette works particularly well over spring dresses. White is versatile, but don’t sleep on the bright pink! Tip: Try this slimmer cut with slouchier pants, too. I ordered it in bright aqua along with these coordinating wide-leg drawstring trousers.
Who doesn’t love belt moment! This style is the easiest one to wear in place of a jacket, in my opinion. Love how this is collarless, too. Tip: Wear it without the belt for an open, drape-y feel.
Come for the collarless crop silhouette, stay for the fancy cuffs. You can dress this up for an evening out or, as Meghan showed with her black Celine piece, throw it on with jeans for a weekend morning. Tip: Check out the other colors this style comes in, which do even more to play up the texture.
The best of both worlds: a polished blazer rendered in cozy sweater material. This also comes in khaki, navy, and black — and is 40% off right now! Tip: Keep a a sweater blazer on hand as you head back to the office; those overactive air conditioners can catch you by surprise.

READ / It’s hard to put into words how deeply I was moved by this excerpt from Jessi Klein’s new book, I’ll Show Myself Out: Essays on Midlife and Motherhood. (Out today! I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my copy.) She examines the challenges of motherhood in a way that is so raw and needed. (The Cut excerpt, Bookshop)
READ / Mary Democker’s piece, “The Climate Crisis is a Parenting Problem,” resurfaced in my Insta feed on Earth Day last week, with helpful reminders about where to put our energy when it comes to climate change. (Romper)
WATCH / White Hot is a new documentary that examines the rise and fall of Abercrombie & Fitch. It’s a story you probably know, but still shocking when summarized like this. (Netflix)
